Building a Semi-Permanent Trapping Shelter for Base Camp
Construct a semi-permanent trapping shelter using durable materials and proper techniques. The shelter frame is built with 32-inch poles lashed to a ridge beam using 36# tarred bank line or natural fiber rope. Reinforce the structure with wild grape-vine woven between poles. Roofing consists of a tarp layered over pine bows, topped with debris for insulation.
