Pantry Supplies

Food Storage: For non-refrigerated bunkers, prioritize non-perishable items:
Grains: Bulk dried beans (pinto, black, kidney, black-eyed peas), long-grain rice, flour, wheat, oatmeal, cornmeal.
Fruits/Vegetables: Dehydrated, freeze-dried, or canned options (e.g., canned fruits, vegetables).
Meats: Canned options like spam, ham, beef stew. Rotate by expiration date (oldest first).
Snacks: Granola bars, protein bars, cereal bars.
Dairy Alternatives: Powdered milk, condensed milk, evaporated milk.
Beverages: 12-packs of soda, non-carbonated drinks, tea bags.

Water Storage: Minimum 3 gallons per person per day. For a family of four over six months: ~2,160 gallons.

Medical Room

Basic Supplies: Bandages (plastic, waterproof, gauze), OTC meds (acetaminophen, ibuprofen, allergy meds), prescription meds (asthma inhalers, heart meds), burn/itch creams, suture kits, casting materials.
Furniture: Cot or bunk bed, storage containers, camp stove for sterilization, lighting, stool.
Electronics: EKG monitor, blood pressure cuff, nebulizer (if needed for asthma).

Sleeping Areas

  • Single cots or bunk beds.
  • Bed sheets, thermal blankets, pillows, clock.

Bathroom

  • Compact toilet/shower combo.
  • Medicine cabinet for toiletries, camp toilet paper.

Living Space

  • Comfortable seating (lounging chairs), card table, bookshelf with entertainment (books, TV, DVD player).

Kitchen

  • Compact electric stove, flatware, paper plates, dish-cleaning system.

Weapons/Defense Room

  • Firearms: Shotguns, .22 rifles, long-range rifles with scopes, handguns (.22, .357, .44).
  • Ammunition: Year supply for all weapons.
  • Backup weapons: Bows, slingshots, pellet guns.
  • Ammo production supplies: Gunpowder, copper (advanced).
  • Maintenance: Cleaning/repair kits.
  • Surveillance: Cameras for perimeter security.
